In 2025, the healthcare institution "10th City Clinical Hospital" celebrates its 40th anniversary since its foundation. During this time, the 10th hospital has become a powerful link in the city and republican healthcare system and is one of the largest multidisciplinary healthcare institutions in our republic, providing highly qualified specialized medical care (inpatient and outpatient) to residents of the city of Minsk, the Republic of Belarus and foreign citizens.

 

Every year, the hospital performs more than 5,000 high-tech and complex surgical interventions, which not only help preserve the life and health of the patient, but also ensure a high quality of life.

The 10th City Clinical Hospital is equipped with modern medical and diagnostic equipment, which allows for diagnostics and treatment at the highest level, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of medical procedures. A full range of high-tech diagnostic studies is carried out, including X-ray endovascular, CT, MRI, radionuclide diagnostic methods, endoscopic, ultrasound. The hospital has introduced a two-shift mode of using expensive medical equipment, including on weekends.

Optimization of the surgical service of the 10th hospital, including constant updating and expansion of the diagnostic base, as well as reconstruction of operating units and departments of anesthesiology and resuscitation, allowed to create unique clusters for the provision of highly specialized surgical care. This ensures a comprehensive approach to patient treatment and allows to carry out all necessary procedures within one institution, which significantly improves the quality of medical services and improves treatment results.

The main asset and pride of the healthcare institution "10th City Clinical Hospital" are its employees. A highly professional team of 338 doctors and 515 employees with secondary medical education work here. These are highly qualified specialists, many of whom have titles and awards for their achievements in the field of medicine.

Due to its multidisciplinary nature, the 10th hospital has brought together the best representatives of medicine and has become a platform for organizing 5 specialized republican centers:

and 4 city centers:

• Center of Thoracic Surgery
• Diabetic Foot Center
• Center of Gastroduodenal Bleedings
• Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine

 

On the basis of the State Health Institution "10th City Clinical Hospital" scientific and educational activities are carried out by 5 departments of the educational institution of the Belarusian State University (hereinafter - EI "BSMU"):

1. Department of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Nutrition with a course of advanced training and retraining;
2. Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology with a course of advanced training and retraining;
3. Department of Pulmonology, Phthisiology, Allergology and Occupational Pathology with a course of advanced training and retraining;
4. Department of Surgery and Transplantology with a course of advanced training and retraining;
5. Department of Surgical Diseases with a course of advanced training and retraining.

4 departments of the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel of the EI "BSMU":

4. Department of Nervous and Neurosurgical Diseases.

 

The close relationship between practical work and scientific activity contributes to the continuous improvement of doctors’ qualifications, allows medical specialists to receive good practical and theoretical training, and effectively implement the achievements of medical science in everyday practical activities.

 

A great personal contribution to the development of practical healthcare and medical science, training of highly qualified specialists was made by the heads of departments - Doctor of Medical Sciences, professors Imshenetskaya T.A., Danilova L.I., Kondratenko G.G., Sivakov A.P., Marakhovsky Yu.Kh., PhD, associate professor Alekseychik S.E.; PhD, associate professor Baykova I.E.

 

In 2024, the hospital underwent medical accreditation. On October 9, 2024, a certificate of compliance of the state healthcare organization with the basic criteria for medical accreditation No. 000413 was received for a period of five years for all declared profiles (43).
